What is nero 9 essentials

I just switched my computer over to Vista and I had Nero 6, but it won't work on Vista. I thought about Nero 7, but I see no reason to get Nero 8 or 9. I thought about not getting Nero because Vista will burn music and data CDs and I have imgburn , which is free, to do much of the rest. Nero 8 and 9 by Grav! It installs to the Program Files X86 folder because it's not a 64 Bit application but functionality is exactly as it should be.

I don't have it installed on X86 at the moment but seem to remember it worked good there too and see no reason why it won't on Windows 7. Essentially, StartSmart is a central launch pad for all the other applications, including burning, video, photo, conversion and backup functions. For budding Spielbergs, the Movie Wizard function now has extra templates based around common events such as weddings, birthdays and holidays, plus there's the special AdSpotter functionality that lets you skip ads in pre-recorded TV shows and movies.

There is also now support for AVHCD, as well as a conversion filter that takes standard-definition video and enhances the picture quality to make it look like high-definition video. Additional functionality is available for Vista users, including enhanced TV integration thanks to the Nero Live Gadget which displays broadcasts in the Vista sidebar. I really had no driving need for LabelTag, but since I was getting a new system with a new optical drive I thought I might as well try it.

I'm going to try a LiteOn forum and see if there are any answers. Anyone have any ideas? I don't have a label-tag drive but I seem to recall seeing something When you load the Essentials disk it only provides a watered down version of Nero, which does contain the LabelTag feature. But you cannot update this to get back to your previous full featured Nero. I had Nero 9. In order to make everything work, I had to upgrade to Nero Overview Nero 9 Essentials is a feature-limited version of Nero 9 that comes bundled with hardware such as a PC or burner and cannot be purchased separately.
