If you find it which you should , you can create a shortcut to it that will make it easier to start, or configure the preferences to automatically start it up when you turn your computer on. I would like to follow up on this response - I have a similar situation where my company uses NetMeeting on XP machines and I was expecting to be able to run this legacy app using XP Mode in W7.

But it is proving to be very tedious First off, it does appear that disabling the integration components does allow the sharing to be functional in NetMeeting - thanks to Bob for this info, I could not find this solution anywhere else However, I ran into a gotcha along the way. I typically run the VM in a maximized window which inconspicuously causes the "tools" menu to disappear from the title bar although the "action" and "usb" menus do remain. I think this is a bug. This wouldn't be a problem in and of itself, except that the VM seems to restart and re-enable the integration features every time it resizes - so there was no way to disable integration in a maximized window.

This seems to allow you to keep the integration disabled when resizing the window. So in order to get sharing to not be grayed out in NetMeeting, I need to do the following steps every time I want to use it: 1 "Restore down" i. I would expect that there are numerous companies that use NetMeeting religiously and this issue could clearly be a stumbling block for them moving piecemeal to W7. It would now seem that they should have created a version for W7 as well.

At the very least, I think that this topic would be worthy of a knowledgebase article so that it isn't quite so difficult to find. Friday, January 15, PM. Thanks a lot for your replies.
